This week I came across Eric Thomas’ You Deserve Better TGIM (Thank God It’s Monday) video where he spoke about the importance of putting in 120% effort whenever you do something whether it is big or small. At the end of the video he challenges the viewers to a 21-day challenge, 21-days is used as significant when developing a habit, if you are able to keep the consistency for that time it is said that the habit should become second nature.
Personally I have always struggled to develop good habits and keep consistency such as reading books, going for jogs and waking up on time. It wasn’t until recently; a friend of mine suggested to me this Lift app to increase my productivity and maintain my consistency of habits.
The Lift app is something I have been looking for a very long time; the app is essentially a daily motivator. You can use the app to search for habits that you want to develop or you can create habits of your own with a daily reminder if required, once you have checked in your habit you are able to add a note with your experience or view discussions with people taking up the same habit.
For each day you consistently check in your habit, you build an accumulator and the people that follow your profile can give you props as well the Lift app itself that will give you encouragement to keep on going to maintain your consistency. From using it for a few weeks I have seen an increase in my productivity and realising that the small things I do daily with this app makes the biggest difference.
You can download the app below for iOS and Android in the links below; start your #21daychallenge, share your experience with me and subscribe to my mailing list on the right for your free e-book.
